Inspired by the legacy of Fr Patrick Peyton, the Father Peyton Centre is both a place of spiritual heritage and a living centre of ministry.
Through prayer, retreats, hospitality, education, and outreach, we seek to support people at every stage of faith and life.
Our mission remains rooted in family, hope, peace, and the power of prayer in everyday life.
The Centre exists to continue the spirit of Fr Peyton’s mission in a modern and welcoming way.
We aim to create a space where individuals, families, pilgrims, and communities can find encouragement, spiritual renewal, and a sense of belonging.
Our vision is simple: to offer peace, promote prayer, strengthen family life, and welcome all who seek reflection or support.
Focus Areas:
Our ministry responds to the needs of modern life by offering meaningful opportunities for connection, reflection, and renewal.
This includes retreats, sacramental preparation, family-focused programmes, school and parish visits, and welcoming spaces for quiet prayer.
We believe faith is not only something remembered — it is something lived, shared, and nurtured each day.

The mission of the Centre extends through collaboration with parishes, schools, dioceses, community groups, and visitors from Ireland and beyond.
Through partnerships and shared initiatives, we continue to promote the values of prayer, family unity, and hope to new generations.
Our work is strengthened by all who support, visit, volunteer, and journey with us.
The life and mission of Fr Patrick Peyton continue to inspire millions of people around the world through his message of prayer, family unity, and faith.
In recognition of his extraordinary contribution to spiritual life and evangelisation, Fr Peyton was declared “Venerable” by Pope Francis in 2017 — an important step in the canonisation process within the Catholic Church.
Today, his legacy continues through the Father Peyton Centre, family prayer initiatives, and the many communities influenced by his mission across generations.
Your support helps us continue welcoming visitors, preserving the legacy of Fr Patrick Peyton, and developing the Centre for future generations.
Every contribution, large or small, makes a meaningful difference.
Please note that the Fr Peyton Centre will be closed to the public from Monday 28th September to Tuesday 6th October to facilitate renovation works at the Centre.
During this period, our usual Community Tuesday gathering, including Mass and lunch, will NOT take place.
