The Fr. Peyton Centre is delighted to announce that we are currently recruiting for two exciting part-time positions as we continue to grow our services and welcome increasing numbers of visitors to the Centre.

Located in the peaceful surroundings of Attymass, Co. Mayo, the Fr. Peyton Centre is a place of prayer, hospitality and community. Every year we welcome pilgrims, tour groups, schools and visitors from Ireland and across the world. Our team is passionate about providing a warm welcome and creating a positive experience for everyone who visits.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly individuals who enjoy working with people and who would like to become part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Current Vacancies

Receptionist / Tour Guide (24 Hours per Week)

This is an exciting front-of-house role for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will welcome visitors, assist with reception duties, provide guided tours of the Centre, and help ensure every visitor enjoys a memorable experience.

Food Preparation & Kitchen Assistant (20 Hours per Week)

We are also seeking a Food Preparation & Kitchen Assistant to support our busy café and Meals on Wheels service. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, meal service, kitchen cleaning and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.

Please note that the Fr Peyton Centre will be closed to the public from Monday 24th August to Monday 31st August to facilitate renovation works at the Centre.

During this period, our usual Community Tuesday gathering, including Mass and lunch, will NOT take place.
